So here we are. After years of enjoying cigars and learning about the history and process involved with cultivating a fine stick, I finally started Cigar Behavior. During my journey I have always wished that I had a nonbiased, nonjudgmental source to learn about cigars. To be honest none existed at the time I was entering the cigar world. Don’t get me wrong, I have met and learned from some amazing people during my journey, and I truly appreciate the guidance that I received and the friendships that I have made over the years, BUT most of the information, although helpful, was based on personal experiences, preferences, and/or bias towards a brand or company.
I know, I know, I sound ungrateful to those who shared their cigar experience and knowledge with me, and I don’t mean to sound that way. But If you’re anything like me, you want to OVERstand a subject before you form an opinion about it. No one took the time to teach me the history, or terminology. This skewed my understanding and perception. When I created Cigar Behavior, I made sure that I focused on sharing all the information that I wish I had when I decided to start enjoying cigars.
With Cigar Behavior you will quickly realize that you do not have to have any experience with cigars. You will not feel intimidated or confused. You will be introduced to the basics and as a community you will be able to share your knowledge, opinions and experiences via our Facebook group. Although the club was created with the beginner in mind, I do feel that even the experienced smoker will find value in what we are trying to build.
Please know that I in no way think, or feel, that I am an expert. The fact is I am still on a learning journey myself. Therefore, when I make the member videos you will always hear me say “In my opinion”, “From what I have learned”, etc.. You will never hear me speak in a factual manner when a particular topic is subjective.
I do understand that there are other clubs out here that are cheaper and provide more cigars, but I can say with great confidence that none of them will provide you with the information, addons, or community support that being a member of Cigar Behavior will. We can learn and grow with likeminded people while exploring and enjoying such an amazing industry.
Thank you so very much for taking the time to learn about Cigar Behavior. I truly hope that you consider joining the club.
It’s All About The Behavior.
